气垫袋采用气阀膜密封。它是由两片薄膜粘在一起，充气后自行密封空气，可以有效地阻止空气回流，即所谓的“气阀膜”。根据物理理论，一次充气将所有气垫袋都充满了独立的气柱，如果其中任何一个泄漏，都不会受到影响。通过这种方式，整个气垫功能将得以保持。
